Zahid Yaseen is an affiliated researcher with FIU's Western Indian Ocean Studies Program. He is an associate Professor and Chairperson of Politics & International Relations at Government College Women University Sialkot. His work addresses civil–military relations, governance, and Indian Ocean maritime security in Pakistan, and he is the author of Men on Horseback (2025) and Chief Editor of the Orient Research Journal of Social Sciences.
